- Dental Floss or thread technique
The main concern when removing skin tag is cutting the blood supply from the base of the skin tag. If you have some assistance then just wrap the dental floss or the thread around the base of the tag and tie a knot by fastening it around the base of the tag. Leave it as it is and within a day or two, the skin tag will dry out and automatically fall off. When it has falls on apply some antibacterial medication or peroxide around the lesion only to make sure your skin stays free from any contamination.
- Castor oil and Baking Soda technique
Make a gooey past by equally mixing baking soda and Castor oil once it is subtle apply the paste 2-3 times in day which will dry off the skin tags and they will automatically fell off.

As the skin tags are benign is nature treatment is not necessary but if you have frequent skin tags then it is of dermatological concern. A physician or a similarly trained person would help you remove skin tags by using techniques like cauterization, cryosurgery, surgical ligation or excision.

As described above both the techniques are home removal techniques for skin tag removal abut there are certain other methods with which you can remove the skin tags. Only the skin tags that are around the eyelid need to be removes with utmost care or in the presence of ophthalmologist.
